Who stars in the thriller film?

Are you looking for a good thriller film to watch? If so, you should check out The Snowman on Netflix. As of April 17, it’s ranked at the No. 2 spot on the streamer’s top 10 movie list, so I’d say it’s worth a watch.

The Snowman is a 2017 psychological thriller movie helmed by Tomas Alfredson from a screenplay co-written by Peter Straughan, Hossein Amini, and Søren Sveistrup. It’s based on the 2007 bestselling book of the same name by Norwegian writer Jo Nesbø.

The story follows a police detective named Harry Hole who, after investigating a woman’s mysterious death, finds himself in a cat-and-mouse game with an elusive sociopath/serial killer. With the help of a gifted recruit, Detective Harry Hole must track and take down said killer before they strike again.

Oscar nominee Michael Fassbender stars in the leading role as Detective Harry Hole. He’s been in many movies since the start of his acting career, such as 300, Hunger, Inglourious Basterds, Jane Eyre, Shame, 12 Years a Slave, Macbeth, Steve Jobs etc.

He’s best known for playing the role of supervillain Magneto in X-Men: First Class, X-Men: Days of Future Past and X-Men: Apocalypse. We’ll see him next in the Netflix action film The Killer.

Swedish actress Rebecca Ferguson portrays the role of police recruit Katrine Bratt. She’s best known for portraying Elizabeth Woodville in the BBC One miniseries The White Queen. She was even nominated for a Golden Globe for her amazing portrayal.

You might’ve watched her in the movies Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation,  Mission: Impossible – Fallout, The Greatest Showman, Life, Doctor Sleep, The Girl on the Train and Dune. We’ll see Ferguson next in the movies Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One, Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part Two, Dune: Part Two and the drama series Silo.
