Super Bowl: Taylor Swift booed for adopting the 'Jason Kelce effect'

Taylor Swift seemed to be having the time of her life at the Super Bowl, but it wasn’t good enough for some fans, as she was ‘booed’ in the crowd. ‘Trash talk’ isn’t uncommon in sporting events, and it looks like Tay may have been targetted whilst chugging her drink on the Jumbotron.

However, it didn’t seem to affect her, or the game, as Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs took home their fourth Super Bowl title as Taylor Swift watched on and cheered from the stands in a night that will go down in history.

Getting into the spirit, the music icon began chugging her drink like a champ as she was shown on the Jumbotron.

Although to us, it seems like the whole world is Swifties, in the Allegiant Stadium that didn’t seem to be the case as the San Francisco 49ers proceeded to boo the singer.

However, the heckles from the other side didn’t seem to bother the star, who carried on chugging like a pro, before the Chiefs took the game, and the rings.

Despite the boos in the crowd, it looked like it was a different story on X, formerly known as Twitter, as fans were calling the star “one of us” for her antics.

They also said that Trav’s brother, Jason Kelce who went viral for his ‘shirtless antics’ after the Bills game, would be proud.

“The Jason Kelce effect,” tweeted one fan.

Another wrote: “This girl is our royalty.”

“Her beer-chugging skills?? Yes, okay, we can be friends,” said one viewer.

Photoshopped Jason Kelce outfit has fans in hysterics

As Jason won over fans with his shirtless antics, one went one step further and photoshopped the NFL star in the same outfit as the character Allan from the Hangover films, starring Bradley Cooper.

The image went viral on X, with fans calling the 36-year-old a ‘legend,’ however, it was then proved to be a ‘fake’ picture.

Nonetheless, Jason still shows his legendary status, including at an Adele concert on Saturday Night. The Rolling in the Deep singer asked the crowd who they thought would win the Super Bowl, to which Jason shouted: “EAGLES!” from his seat.

“What did you say? You sound drunk and like a football fan,” the singer hilariously replied.
