New Is It Cake? season 3 trailer teases guest judges like Lana Condor and more!

Is It Cake? is back for more cake-centric games in its upcoming third season. Mikey Day of Saturday Night Live fame returns to host this sweet, lighthearted guessing game along with a group of talented bakers. This season, bakers will create hyper-realistic cake versions of everything from roller skates to tiki drinks as they try to bamboozle one another and fool the judges when it comes to answering the ultimate question: is it real, or is it cake?

All eight episodes of Is It Cake? season 3 will premiere on Friday, March 29, 2024. Netflix has just released the official trailer for the new season, teasing more bakers prepared to push the boundaries of culinary craftsmanship!

Alongside the official trailer, Netflix has shared with us the complete list of guest judges to be featured in the third season! There are a lot of Saturday Night Live vets volunteering like Jay Pharoah, Beck Bennett, Chris Kattan, Ego Nwodim, and Taran Killam, plus Netflix stars such as Lana Condor, Liza Koshy, London Hughes, and more.

Along with the new photos and the trailer, Netflix has also revealed the eight bakers who will be competing in the reality baking show's third season.

Most of the bakers cast for season 3 have previously competed on notable baking reality competitions like Big Time Bake, Sugar Rush (Netflix), and more!

The official season 3 synopsis from Netflix:

" The hit series returns with bigger cakes, higher stakes, and wilder bakes! This season, watch as a new batch of bakers push the boundaries of culinary craftsmanship, creating hyper-realistic cakes to trick and deceive their way to the ultimate cash prize. Once again, you’ll find yourself asking the question - is it real? Or… Is It Cake?"

Is It Cake? comes from executive producers Dan Cutforth, Jane Lipsitz, Nan Strait, Dan Volpe, and Andrew Wallace. The first two seasons are currently streaming on Netflix.
