Katherine Heigl goes back to blonde, brings Naleigh to the set

After spending several weeks as a brunette, Katherine Heigl has gone back to her blonde roots. Or whatever. I’m actually thinking this might be a wig? Just because her hair looks “off” to me, but maybe she really did go back to blonde and her hair is just really messed up. Who knows? I’m not even looking at Dame Heigl because she brought her daughter Naleigh to the set, and the paparazzi got some adorable photos of Naleigh. She looks like such a little cutie. She seems like a good baby too, not that I know that much about babies. Naleigh never seems to be fussy or tantrum-y in the photos I’ve seen of her, Which is basically my ideal baby.

And yes, the rumors are true – Dame Heigl did the brunette thing because she’s about to start filming on One for the Money, the first Stephanie Plum film. Gah! I love the Plum series (written by Janet Evanovich), and Dame Heigl is such sh-tty casting. Stephanie Plum is supposed to be the girl-next-door, a Calamity Jane, and yet hardcore and sexy all at the same time. Stephanie is not supposed to be some diva with a horrible, stuck-up attitude. Although… Heigl really isn’t the worst actress, so maybe she’ll be able to pull it off? She’s talking like she’s taking the whole thing seriously. Heigl told Us Weekly that Stephanie is “a very specific kind of girl, so I just wanted to show the legion of fans that I will be your vision of Stephanie Plum. It’s important. I hate when my favorite books are made into films and they are just not what you expect.” UGH.

No mention on who has been cast as Ranger, Morelli, or Grandma Mazur. Or Lula! Lula has to be Queen Latifah, right? I mean, the Queen is the only one who can pull that off. Although Mo’Nique might be good, come to think of it. Although I doubt Mo’Nique would want to play a supporting part as a hooker right after winning the Oscar. So Latifah, right? And Morelli? I’m just going to say it… Jon Hamm. Right?!!? Dame Heigl doesn’t deserve this awesome imaginary casting.
