Joseph C. McConnell - Trivia, Family, Bio

Distinguished American fighter pilot of the Korean War era. He received both the Silver Star and the Distinguished Service Cross for his aerial combat heroics.

Trivia

While working as a test pilot, he was killed in a 1954 crash over Edwards Air Force Base.
