Is Somewhere in Queens starring Ray Romano on Netflix? (where to watch)
Emmy Award-winning actor Ray Romano returns to the big screen in Somewhere in Queens. But is this movie also streaming on Netflix? We answered this burning question right below.
Somewhere in Queens is a comedy film helmed by Romano in his directorial debut. He also co-wrote the screenplay with writer Mark Stegemann. But not only did Romano write and direct the movie, but he also stars in it as the protagonist, Leo Russo.
It tells the story of a middle-class Italian-American family. After Leo’s athletic teen son gets a life-changing opportunity to play basketball in college, Leo will do everything he can to make sure this opportunity isn’t jeopardized, including secretly meddling in his son’s social life.
Besides Romano, the rest of the cast includes Laurie Metcalf, Jacob Ward, Sadie Stanley, Jennifer Esposito, Dierdre Friel, Jon Manfrellotti, Sebastian Maniscalco, and many others.
Unfortunately, Somewhere in Queens is not available to stream on Netflix. However, it could be added to the streaming platform in the future if Netflix acquires licensing rights to it. But for now, you’ll have to look elsewhere to watch this film.
Don’t worry, though. Netflix has tons of other hilariously funny movies streaming right now on its platform. We recommend checking out 21 Jump Street, the Murder Mystery film series, The Wrong Missy, Me Time and This Is 40. If none of these films seem like something you’d want to watch, I’m sure you’ll find something of interest by browsing through Netflix’s comedy section yourself.
As of April 21, the only place where you can watch this film is in theaters. You can purchase tickets to see the movie through websites such as Fandango, AMC Theatres, and Cinemark Theatres. It will also be available on digital platforms sometime after its theatre release.
