How many seasons of Basketball Wives are on Netflix?

This December, Netflix is bringing more reality television to its content catalog, including seasons of Big Brother, The Amazing Race, The Hills, and Basketball Wives. Basketball Wives is the long-running VH1 reality television show following professional basketball players’ wives, girlfriends, and romantic partners.

The first season debuted in 2010. Since then, Basketball Wives has undergone multiple cast changes, revamps, and even location changes. As of August 2022, the long-running VH1 reality show has aired more than 190 episodes across ten seasons. The series returns with new episodes in January 2023.

Besides the main franchise, Basketball Wives has spawned many spinoff series like Football Wives, Baller Wives, Shaunie’s Home Court, and more.

On December 1, 2022, Netflix added the first two seasons of Basketball Wives on Netflix. The first season premiered in April 2010 and featured cast members Royce Reed, Suzie Ketcham, Gloria Govan, Jennifer Williams, Evelyn Lozada, and Shaunie O’Neal.

The second season premiered in December 2010 and had the same cast, except it added Tami Roman to the lineup, and she has gone on to become a core part of the show.

You can watch the first nine seasons of Basketball Wives on Paramount+, so you can switch to the other streaming service after watching the first two on Netflix. Netflix might also add additional seasons in the future.

There are multiple Basketball Wives spinoffs. Below we’ve listed all of them and where you can stream them right now. Unfortunately, Netflix doesn’t have any of the spinoffs at the moment.

There is also a new three-part special called Shaunie and Keion’s Destination “I Do” that will focus on Shaunie’s wedding to Keion Henderson. The first part premiered on November 28, 2022, on VH1, which is currently the only place you can watch it.
