He is best known for appearing on the VH1 reality TV series Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta and TV One original series The Next:15. His real name is Raymond Scott.

Since 2003, he has feuded with rapper Eminem. Since then, the pair have been creating diss tracks about each other, including Benzino’s “Pull Your Skirt Up” and “Die Another Day”.

Benzino released a diss mixtape Benzino Presents: Die Another Day: Flawless Victory, disparaging Eminem and his record label.

Since 2016, he appears in the American reality television series The Next:15. He has made appearances in several TV shows and programs.

On September 4, 2020, Benzino released the single “The Bigger Picture” on YouTube, along with a music video.

Legal Issues

Scott was arrested on a bench warrant in DeKalb County, Georgia on June 22, 2019. Scott was arrested and brought to police headquarters for booking.

Benzino started a racist diatribe against a police officer of Vietnamese ethnicity who was arresting him while he was being brought to police headquarters. Multiple racial slurs and maternal insults were used in the tirade.

Scott was arrested and charged with criminal damage to property on July 31, 2020, after allegedly destroying a guy’s Chevy Silverado pickup truck after a fight with the man, who was in the company of Scott’s ex-fiance Althea Heart at the time.

Scott was arrested and charged with one count of second-degree criminal damage to property, a felony, on February 3, 2022. Judge Warren Davis is currently hearing his case.
